Coaches Comments:

First game of the season and the boys were excited. They did well in listening to instruction from John and myself and threw themselves into the skills practice. We had a couple of no-shows but hopefully they will turn up next week. Considering this was all new to them they did really well in the game and stayed focused (mostly!) through all quarters. Their keenness meant that they didn't always stay within the correct zones, but we'll work on this over the next few weeks! We also need to work on not tackling our own players!

Best Players:

All the boys did great, but Patrick, Max and Quinten had great games and were awarded special vouchers for their efforts. Liam also did some great kicks (needs to try and stay on this feet though!) and Malacey really put in a lot of effort, which was great.
