Coaches Comments:

Back to pitch 3 today to face the Lions on a clear sunny morning. The ground was soaking wet as the boys ran out for just the 2nd time since May 7th. We put together a training session with the help of Tom Horne who stepped in to fill the void left by his Dad who was still travelling back from Augusta. Despite the wet ball and low sun, this game was a marking showcase - with several huge grabs held on both sides, Declan Proctor and Josh Horne showing some impressive skills in holding onto the ball. Joined at Quarter time by our coach, our team was full strength once more. The boys also demonstrated some commendable teamwork today, with Lachlan W in particular taking the opportunities he had to play in his team mates rather than tuck the ball under his arm and run. This team work and collaborative play is what we all strive for as we see our boys grow into this game, it is great to see them picking up these habits early.

A special mention to Tom Horne today for his help, Lachlan W took out the Krispie Kreme voucher for the team player award this week. Well done boys.
