Coaches Comments:

2 weeks to go, in what has been a very wet season of Auskick. We were on ground 1 facing the very well drilled Pumas with a few men down. Mitchell, Oscar and Lachlan P were all absent today as the 8 man Cheetahs took to the training session with some handball skills before having a kick on the run, collecting the rolling ball. With the help of 2 top up players from the opposition, we played 10 vs 11. The grass had not been cut for a while, and the recent rainy days had made for very wet on ground conditions. A lot of the boys struggled at first with the wet ball, and just as we thought the sun would help dry us out a bit, the showers came through! We saw some great contested play today, with Declan and Josh in particular watching the ball well and making sure they got to the ball first. Jaxon kicked a couple of goals in the third quarter, before Mason added one with what has become a trademark long bomb. It's really pleasing to see how far the boys have progressed, Travis and Lachlan W in particular are showing a much greater attention on the game and are picking up more possessions as a result. Well done all, see you next week for one last run.

This week Finn O'Grady had to show everyone his hands after the game so we could make sure that he had not covered them in glue! He marked everything that came near him, and takes home a very well deserved certificate, well done Finn.
