Coaches Comments:

Another much improved game in a lot better conditions than last week. We we’re a few soldiers down, however we we’re well assisted by some players helping out with topping up our numbers for the Lynx. After a good warm up with some new training drills to help us to start carrying the ball at bit more before disposing of it we got into our groove very early sharing the ball well in our forward line and kicking some very good goals. Ruaridah lead the charge through the middle of the ground providing drive into our forward line and provided good defence when required. Although Oliver and Max Fricke we’re quite keen to catch up with each other and discuss the game on the field at length, when their opportunity came to take possession of the ball they did very well. Max Stirling continued to keep the goal umpires very busy contributing several times up forward and Milton would have slept well Saturday night after a busy and very athletic day on the goal line. Kane was rock solid again in defence and marked everything that came his way. Troy was dominant again in the ruck and played tall for us all over the ground. The team was left with some homework to do over the weekend and asked to watch the West coast Eagles game and report the highest goal kicker for the game. Hopefully they have the answer after the Eagles poorest performance of the year !!
