Coaches Comments:

What a great game to finish the season, both teams were great today with some great umpiring. Always on the last game i remember back to the first game of the season so that i can focus on the great improvements that the boys have made. Our kicking is getting more and more precise, many kicks are finding their target now, it is obvious to see that the boys are practicing their kicking at home and at school, Cian provided some great kicking today and found his target on every kick. Our handballing is getting stronger an more on target, hitting each other on the chest with many of our handballing, Isaac did a fantastic job today, his handballing hitting their mark every time. Marking is something that we have been working on alot, at the start of the seaon some of the boys were still scared of the ball in the air, but not today, everyone was attacking the ball in the air, Elliot did a great job with his marking today, keeping his eyes on the ball and taking some great chest marks. The other area that has improved a huge amount this year is chasing the loose ball and calling loudly when the boys want the ball, Ryan did a fantastic job of this today, calling loudly when he was in space and then when the ball came his way, Ryan chased the ball really hard to be the first to pick it up. Thankyou to all the boys for such a great season, it has been so rewarding again to see you develop and refine your skills, you are becoming great footballers. Keep practicing and i look forward to next season.
