What a great first quarter in the wet weather, it was great to see Lucas and Lachlan picking the ball up from the ground so cleanly, it was great to watch. Alex, Cian, Scott and Isaac did a fantastic job in the center to get the ball into our forward line, the handballing, kicking and marking skills that were displayed were fantastic, well done boys. It was a little disappointing that the weather turned really bad making things difficult to start playing again after the quarter time break. I am very proud of all the boys, there were some tears, but all the boys got back out on the field to play the second quarter, even through they were all freezing and drenched through, great to see the boys digging deep for their footy.
