Y2 Panthers vs Jaguars
Coach: Brett Von Bergheim Manager:

Coaches Comments:

With just a few games remaining this season, some of the Panthers boys have hit top form. This week was another great game. After a first quarter in which the Jaguars really showed us how to share the footy to work as a team, the boys then proceeded to match the opposition's effort with some excellent skills and passing. Hamish Mackay was lively at both ends of the ground, Tadhg Barrowclough was everywhere as usual, and Ben Cherian once again showed he is improving with each game. With a few of our players unavailable this weekend, we were lucky enough to have two Jaguars help us out each quarter. Those eight boys did a great job of playing excellent footy and looking for their team mates. Thanks Jaguars.

Best Players:

BEST PLAYER Nate Anderson showed his desperation and courage once again this week and was rewarded with the best player award. Nate always takes great care with the footy to make sure that he delivers the ball to a team mate whether it be by foot or hand, which this week set up numerous goals for his team mates and himself. Great to see a popular team member get the award this week. OTHER AWARDS George Smith worked his way into the game and also set up several scoring chances for the Panthers. Great to see George bursting away from backs and looking for targets ahead. Xavier Zuchetti ran hard all day and took some excellent marks. It was great to see Xavier bringing his team mates into the game in the last quarter to get them on the scoreboard. Flynn Convey once again used his size to position himself nicely in marking contest and take some super grabs. A few weeks of really concentrating on his kicking has seen Flynn become one of the best and most consistent kicks in the team.
