Coaches Comments:

After the school holiday break, the Panthers were super excited to get back into it this week. A bit of early rain didn't bother us and we had a great free flowing match against the Tigers. I don't recall any free kicks for the game for players not keeping their feet, which was impressive given the slippery conditions. Hamish Mackay took some solid marks, Ben Cherian and Conn O'Rourke had excellent games and Ben O'Shea played another super game. I was really proud of how our teamwork clicked today, and it helped us play some great footy once again. One thing we did take out of this week was making sure that we are concentrating on our ball drop when kicking, especially in the wet where kicks can slide off the boot at all angles.

Best Players:

BEST PLAYER Xavier Zuchetti continued his great form from the last few weeks with his best game for the season. It was great to see Xavier working on his passing and bringing his team mates into the game. A fantastic intercept in the midfield was a highlight. OTHER AWARDS Nate Anderson opened the scoring for the Panthers and as usual took some courageous marks. Nate's always give 100% each week which is all a coach could ask for. Flynn Marcon was back after missing the last couple of games and it was great to see his attack on the footy. Flynn's is always determined to give his best. Jace von Bergheim worked hard to bring his team mates into the game and had another solid game. Jace always puts the team first, and has a few thoughts for the coach after the game.
