Coaches Comments:

The Pumas had their first game away from MacDonald Reserve today and what a game it was. We all had to get up a little earlier and be at Emerald Reserve in Edgewater to play against the Edgewater Lions. After introducing ourselves we got down to our training drills, stretching, fast handballing, raid the nest and kicking to a lead. All the boys were keen to show off their skills to the other team and all put in their best efforts at training, the kicking and handballing was great, the boys were really loud with their calling for the ball. We were all keen to start the game and again the boys wanted to show how we play a skillful game of footy. The game was very open and well spread, Cian, Alex, Scott and Rohan took some great marks, Elliot, Lawson, Lachie, Lucas and Ethan showed some great leading for the ball. Parker, Cooper, Ryan, Issac and Jack chased the ball really hard. It was great to see them using their skills well, to share the ball so that everyone got a touch. Really a great game today boys, well played everyone. Thanks Waz for setting this up, the boys are already asking which club we are going to next week. I think this group of boys will excel at their footy next year when we do travel from club to club.
