President's Address 2021

PRESIDENT’ S ADDRESS

 Hello everyone and welcome to all the new boys and girls and your families to Whitford Junior Football Club. We are all excited to have you represent our great club and cannot wait to see you pull on the blue and white jumper and play footy for us this season.

For those of you returning, welcome back. It is going to be fantastic to see you all again.

2020 was a tumultuous year with many ups and downs, the “will we/won’t we” have a season and then the COVID-19 rules and regulations we had to endure.  It was hard for everyone involved and l’m delighted to say that, despite the adversity we all faced, the club had one of its most successful years both on and off the field.

2021 holds its own set of challenges but fingers crossed we will be able to play a full uninterrupted season which would be great to see.

Off the field there is a lot to look forward to, Friday nights under lights will be back bigger than ever, Allocation Day and Family Fun Day will be bigger and better than ever plus many functions throughout the year - so keep an eye on the website or all the info.

If there is anything you ever need don’t forget l along with your wonderful committee are here to help with anything you need.
