President’s Address

A warm welcome to everyone as we prepare to kick off an exciting new season of footy at Whitford Junior Football Club in 2024! It’s great to see so many familiar faces returning this season and to see so many new ones joining our WJFC football family.

Season 2024 marks a substantial chapter in our club's history with us celebrating our 50th year since being established back in 1973. Our 50th season promises to be filled with some fantastic events and some great games of football.

To our returning players, welcome back! Your commitment and love of the game have been the driving force behind our success on and off the field, and we're sure that this season will be no different.

We extend a special welcome to those joining the club for the first time. You are now part of one of the most passionate junior clubs with a rich history of sportsmanship, resilience, and community involvement. Wear the Blue and White with pride, and embrace the journey ahead, we’re sure you’ll love being a WJFC member.

To all the families, sponsors and our Whitford community who provide us unwavering support, a heartfelt thank you. Your role in our football family is invaluable, and we're grateful for your continued commitment and support.

Lastly, I would like to thank all of those past players, families and volunteers who have helped grow and form this great club from its humble beginnings 50 years ago. Without your dedication and self-sacrifice, we would not be where we are today as one of the largest and most passionate junior sporting clubs in the country.
